Old Bandit

Bill -

Glad to hear you're improving and look forward to seeing you folks in Vt.

Our prayers and best wishes for a successful resolution to your daughter's condition.

Thanks Everyone, not real sure about riding in the back, I am a control freak when it comes to 3 wheels, but time will tell. Here is the blood drive we have created for our daughter on September 6, 2014. The local Harley Dealer really stepped up to make this happen. So we have our fingers crossed everything will go well. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!

Good the hear you are on the mend, and retirement that's exciting. Our prayers are with you and your daughter. Sheri will have gray hair by the end.
The best to your entire family

Bill you are in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery... Congrats to your wife on her pending liscense. Your daughter is also in our prayers . Charlie D & Marietta

Thanks Everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Update, The MRI of the head, brain and ears revealed nothing (that's good news), now waiting on some blood work to return to see if that reveals anything, but at this moment the doctors think it was just some kind of virus. Sherry will begin her classes this evening and our daughter is doing fine for now. There has been a lot support for our daughter and she has received a lot of blood donations so far, as of the last doctors visit, last week, she has to get an MRI and the doctors are talking about putting stints/balloons in her main arteries before the surgery to try and stop the bleeding when they take the babies. So, at least there seems to be a plan, hopefully the 8 doctors assigned to her can pull it off.

Until next post, ride safe and thanks for your prayers!!

All good news Bandit. Myself and three of the guys in the maintenance shop gave blood last week in Chris's name. Got a free Guns & Hoses T Shirt that I can use for a night gown. All goes well, we'll see you after a 500 mile ride in about 9 days.
Sherry gets her license this week, you and I can ride together. See if you can get that picture out of your head in the next week.

Great news, Bandit.
And a comment on Keith's post....I've seen You riding bi..ch before. Not a pretty sight! LOL!

Bill - it has occurred to me that many members are either located too far away, or like me, have "unacceptable" blood and are unable to donate.

Is there a way we can forward a contribution to the family or to the Blood Drive to help offset expenses? Even a few bucks from a lot of folks could be a big help.

Perhaps a PayPal account? We could discuss further at the Rally if you approve.

Continued thoughts and prayers for your daughter and family.

Bill,
Glad you hear you are doing better. We're so sorry to hear about your daughter and her twins. My wife and I lost our first child 1 day after he was born. That was the worst experience any parent could imagine. One year later we were blessed with a happy healthy little girl (22 yrs old now). Your family is in our prayers, keep positive and keep praying for what is best for everyone involved. Hope everything goes well.
We have a sign in our house I feel fits here....
The will of God will never take you...Where the grace of God will not protect you.
Best wishes keep the faith!!!!

Russ and Vickie

Another Update! So the daughter went to the doctor yesterday 8/26, they have now set the date to take the twins. The date is 10/13/2014, coincidentally, that is Sherry's birthday. So, it looks like Sherry will be a granny again on her birthday. Doctors have looked at an MRI and told her things may not be as bad as they originally thought, however they would not know until the surgery. She has a team of 8 doctors that are on call and these doctors will be performing the surgery. She will have a very, very busy September with doctors appointments and infusions as they have determined she is anemic. Thanks for your continued prayers, it would seem at this point that they are working. There is a complete update on facebook (Bill Snyder), for those wanting to know the schedule.

Warren, I would not feel right accepting any sort of offset, just keep sending those prayers her way.

Thanks and god bless!

OK, Bill.

We think of Christina often and continue to send our thoughts and prayers for a positive outcome.

For everyone who can donate blood, go back 3 posts previous from here (#32) for the "Blood Drive" information poster. Three years ago I received 14 units over a two day period... you never know when it's your turn.

Please donate.

Warren, I spoke with Christina last night and she did show some concern, so I created a site that will take donations for her. Here is the link http://www.gofundme.com/christinawellington anything would be greatly appreciated. Share this link to anyone you may know. I will make updates through that page.

Thanks and Ride Safe!!

Bill,

Thank you for reviewing this with Christina.

We encourage everyone on TrikeTalk to visit: http://www.gofundme.com/christinawellington and make a donation, regardless of amount. If we all donate something, it adds up quickly.

We ask everyone to please join us in supporting this fundraiser.

Our continued prayers and best wishes to Christina and family for a successful outcome. ThumbUp

Bill -

I went to the link you provided and was pleased to see some folks are already participating.

Everyone should realize that participating is what's important and the amount is secondary. Even a gift of $5, $10, $20 (or whatever) adds up quickly if enough people join in. We encourage all who can, to "dig down" and come up with a few "bucks". I see where the site accepts Visa, Master Card & AmEx and all monies are passed to Christina. No fees are withheld.

Thank you for providing this link. For those of us who can't come to the blood drive, or who are medically unable to give blood, the "donate link" is a great way to help offset insurance deductibles and other expenses.

Attention TT members - your help is needed. Along with our continued thoughts and prayers, please go to: http://www.gofundme.com/christinawellington, scroll down and read about Christina's "high risk" pregnancy. Consider donating a couple of dollars. Don't be "scared off" by a couple of larger gifts. $3, $5 or whatever from a lot of folks adds up quickly. These monies all go to offset deductibles and unexpected charges. It's quick and easy to donate - the secure site takes Visa, MC, and AmEx.

Let's all help Christina get through this serious medical crisis.

Thanks...

Bill & Sherry -

We hope today's "Blood Drive" for Christina was a huge success...

For anyone not familiar, please read the above quote, click on the link, learn about Christina's situation and be sure to donate "a couple of bucks". Your continued thoughts and prayers are also needed. ThumbUp
