Motor Trike announces a new Reverse Trike

Yikes, now that would take a lot of getting used to....Pushing a lot of wind in front. Can we assume it is a front wheel drive? Didn't see that in the info.....Pretty good intro conversion price.

I'm sure it's rear wheel drive Bill. Can-Am and Hannigans are also.. :AGGHH: :AGGHH:

It's another case of when the designer was finished and sent it into production, Someone didn't tap him on the shoulder and say....
What in hell were you drinking....:gah:

I think they turned their trike kit around backwards and put it on the front!

Except it would have looked better if they had.

I can't believe it doesn't look any better than that!;)

Hmmm... Of the 3 GL1800 reverse trikes I know of that are, or will be, readily available, I think I like the looks of the Sturgis RT18 best, followed closely by the Hannigan. I have seen the RT18 and the Hannigan in person, and the RT18 seems to have a shorter, more integrated nose. Haven't seen the Motor trike in person, of course, but the front end seems to be very angular compared to the rounded lines of the GL1800. Makes for a good size front trunk, though.

With the top trunk and saddle bags intact, I wouldn't think you would need that front trunk so big... could have aero'd it down.

This contraption makes no sense to me, but I just use logic, I'm no engineer, or designer. If it's rear wheel drive, unless it's one of those humongous special CanAm Spyder tires, it won't last any time at all. I have other concerns, but what the ho, to what end?

Hannigan has re-designed the nose on their reverse trike and have added a storage compartment in the top. Looks slick!

(they also have another reverse trike in the works too....)

Looks like they forgot to plan for the trunk and dropped one on it at the last minute.........sure don't care for the looks of it at all...

I know my opinion does not mean much to a corporation like Motor Trike, but I feel that they hit a home run with the Razor; but this thing is Dastardly! That's not "Dick!" Didn't they realize that aesthetics are extremely important to the sale and acceptance of a machine. I don't mean to pick on any group but maybe they intended it for use at the Bascom-Palmer Eye Institute? I would like to see the comments of the bikers that see it up close and personal at Bike Week this weekend.
