Whats for supper?

Tonight I finally get to eat my beef barley soup, made with the left over Christmas prime rib roast.

I have cooked the meat in the water three times, then cooled it in the fridge, scraped off the fat and repeated two more times. This last time, there was just enough fat left on top to give it great flavor, but not make it greasy, that fat was left. Today the veggies and Barley were put in as the soup simmered most of the day. The veggies need to be added at different times as they cook differently and I hate mushy veggies.

I can't wait to eat it, It smells heavenly and (don't tell anyone) it tasted great too.
