Khrome Werks 2+2 Wide Sweepers

Today I installed heated grips on my 2018 Tri Glide, and I also intend on installing KW 2+2 Wide Sweepers in the fall. Installing the heated grips allowed me to see what I was up against when I install the new bars. I feel there is enough slack in the control wires - I will get the extension for ease of installation. My question is the brake and clutch lines - could not see enough slack to go up 2" and back 2" plus the extra bar width. Any experience with this install re/clutch and brake lines would be appreciated.

Odered mine today after reading all the rave reviews decided to make the leap!

I have mine but not installed as yet. As stated on the earlier post I put heated grips on so I had a dry run. I did buy the wire extension just in case, as I am a long way from a dealer and did not want any surprises! I also examined the brake and clutch lines and will be able to gain a few inches, if needed, by having the radio cable on the outside of the brake and cable lines. Weather is changing for the better here so might be a fall/winter job. Good luck with your install.

Thanks, Im hoping I wont need the extensions, Ive seen a video where they realeased the wires from their perch and gained some length.🤞🙏🏻

I believe Bronxbill installed 2+2 wide sweepers on a 17' he extended the wires just to make sure nothing was stressed. I did my 09 four years ago. DSC00124.JPG

I did mine on a 2016. If you search under the fairing, you will find a lot of extra length hoses and cables wire tied near the radio. If you cut the wire ties there is plenty of length. I did use the wire extensions, cost me $25 from Boardtracker
