VW trike hydraulic clutch problems

If you can go down in size on your alternator pulley you will gain more power from it PLUS the fan for cooling the alternator will spin faster = more cooling

You will see more power at lower RPM also;)
 
Speeding up the ratio can be handy if you spend a lot of time at idle or very low rpm.

You would be surprised how much you can get away with on an alternator itself. Way back when working with a buddy on his hot rod (a ford guy, I was mopar), we ran out of room with a 514 stuffed in a place a 4 banger came from. Wound up making brackets and putting the alternator on the differential yoke. Worked out fine, did not charge unless moving but spun enough between stops that the batt was always charged.
