Here is the recall according to my VIN, HMMM a new piston I am wondering if this may be a dual fix, the clutch actuation and the oil migration problem Last updated Oct 23, 2018
The hydraulic clutch system with secondary clutch actuator part numbers 37200131and 37200131A on the subject motorcycles may exhibit an internal leak of fluid past the secondary clutch actuator piston/seal. If this leak continues for an extended period, the clutch master cylinder reservoir could lose enough fluid toexpose the hydraulic clutch circuit to air, which may result in the inability togenerate enough lift to disengage the clutch.

I'm gonna pull my master cylinder cover tomorrow & check the level.
It states in the service manual that as the clutch wears, the master cylinder fluid level will rise.

Cover your gas tank so you don't dribble fluid on it
That will ruin your nice black paint
Look at the bottom of your master cylinder do you see any black muddy crap in there?
I have flushed my fluid twice already, wiped the master out clean. Clutch pivot clevis taken out of handle and cleaned and lube To date I have had NO problems including no problems starting in gear

I just checked with my vin number and shows no recall, not sure if that is good or bad, time will tell if I get on the list or not, maybe dealer will contact me
All for now Trampas
My '17 FW is in the recall group, a call to the dealer, they said they will be getting the fix kits in early November and don't even have any instructions on how to perform the fix yet.
Same as the others...."call in early November.....it's safe to ride if you wish to"

Jack, would you think that in replacing this part, they would have to bleed the clutch line, to get all the air out?
That is my thought & I am going to now hold off on replacing/flushing the clutch brake fluid.
I'm checking it in a little while, as I want to get a ride in.
Thanks
