I have KC lamps from the mid 70's on my trike, will up grade them soon. I would like brighter LED lights myself.

I will be taking out that rectangular style light and just putting a round one in it's place, also to match the body design.

Did you look at a Honda dealer to see if one could get you a replacement, might have one the same size that is newer and brighter, the thought hit me, LOL

Very nice looking trike David.

Any Honda dealer/repair shop thats been around and selling ATC/ATV's for a while will have that bulb...

Not the newer dealers but the ones in dirt bike country...

MR TRIKE

you might try roadsmith. they were v cycle before they became roadsmith

Hello- Nice Trike- The chrome headlight frame and glass lens is from a mid 90's Honda ATV. I made a mold to hold the frame for the trike. It came with a single element bulb so i replaced it with H-4 60-55 watt auto headlight bulb. It had to be held in place with high temp silicone to work. You can replace with a 100 watt-55 watt "weed burner" bulb or they now make a direct replacement LED for H-4 applications.

You can use that one but make sure you get the new bulb in same position as old one as that is what directs the beam of light in right direction. I would take a picture of old one before cutting silicone out. The 3 tabs on old and new bulb must match. Silicone the new bulb in place and let dry overnight.

I also recommend using your 2 quartz running lights as an aid and safety need. KEEP-ON-TRIKEN I know these facts as i was the founder and builder of these trikes for The Trike Shop now Roadsmith. Still the Leader in the Industry!!!!

We theres your fix from the man himself! Thank you Mr Dick Lindholm for the info.

thank you , i have changed the running lights to led much brighter and less strain on generator , i talked to a man that his daughter had a place in daytona called the trike shop now closed , anyway he said that he built this trike and he had new headlights for $50.00 if i wanted one , i should have bought one for a backup then , biggest problem is the chrome is in bad shape and doesnt reflect the light very good so i was trying to find this person to see if the headlights were still available , i have found the 1985 honda atc110 with same headlight on ebay but they are in worse shape than mine
