I noticed when I took the 2019 TriGlide out for a test ride, I started to get a knot between my shoulder blades. I was having to lean too far forward. I am 5'7" with a 30" inseam. The seat was fine but hoping to find some bars that will come back to me a bit more for an upright riding position. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

depends on how much money you want to spend. I have helibars on my tri glide 13. expensive but they are fully adjustable I have bad wrists and I ride with no pain

I have a 15 Tri and I went with the HD 2" pullbacks, I'm 5' 8 with a 30" inseam. I really like them and didn't need any extenders for clutch, brake, or throttle.

I'm 5'8" 30" inseam I have 2+2 wide sweepers Khrome werks bars check my photos in my profile albums good luck with the search Fred DSC01001.JPGDSC01011.JPGDSC01013.JPGDSC01022.JPGDSC01024.JPG

PS I got to the computer

I am 5'10" with 28" inseam. Short legs I guess. I went with a tall boy seat (from HD) to sit lower and further back. Then after I got the seat that fit me best I went the Carlini 16" gangster apes. I prefer the pull back and angle of the Carlini bars. The bars are now at shoulder level and no leaning over. It does put your hands over the faring and any protection from the air but then again i have never had a faring before so it is not that big of a deal. IMHO I would make sure the seat you have is the most comfortable seat for you then look at bars. I still cant figure out how to post a picture to show you where they end up but if you look at DK Products home page that is my trike in the slide show at the top of the page.

Did you attempt to adjust them?

I want to add the wider bars make it so much easier to steer and the added height of 2" and added length of 2" of grips. However check out Khrome Werks website they have a full line on bars at a workingman's budget. I would have sold the trike if I had not found out about these bars have ended my back and shoulder issues on long rides for that matter any rides. Good luck in your search :good:Travel safe Fred

That shoulder blade stabbing is definitely a bar issue. Choosing the right one can also be a real confusing issue.

Sit normaly , eyes closed , simulating ware your hands are to be with your elbows bent , not straight, and have some one measure your hand distance from what you have. As Fred stated, Krome Works has a good selection as how to determine what you need. I’m 6’ and the 2x2 worked for me. You might need more. Measure up to find out. Do it once. Your welcome.

That should be a given, but handlebar adjustment on a Tri Glide isn't a piece of cake like it is on a Freewheeler.

I think you are correct. My brother in law had a Tri and wanted to set the bars back. Cost him $900.00. Later when he sold his Tri and bought a Wing he did the same thing. Moved them back 2 or 3 inches for less than $100.00

You can’t get any more reach with stock bars. A TG replacement is a all day ,+ a 6 pack job. Labor intensive. Average dealer cost $900 - $1000 . But worth it if your not a DIYS guy/gal.

Depending on the year 13 and back have cable clutch later hydraulic. I did our 09' for less than three hundred. Newer you have Less expense

Around here we can drink a six pack in 2 - 3 hrs. & the handle bars will be finished before the six pack!

I've read good reports about the Khrome Werks 2+2 sweepers but I've never seen them on a bike or tried them myself. Personally I'm a big fan of the Wild One Chubby bars - I've had them one three bikes and now my TG. The Chubby Bagger Low WO579 are what I have. Don't be misled by the 'low' description as they are taller and wider than the stock bars by about 2" as I recall. I guess the 'low' designation is to differentiate them from apes.

Hill Country Custom Cycle could be another choice. They have from bare bars to the complete plug & play assembly.

youtube changing handlebar on harley. look for the paul yafee. i rally like my 12 " pullbacks

Just talked to my buddy down in Alabama. We will be in his area in November and we will do some rides together. He had a shop install 12" apes on his 2017 TG for just over $700 out-the-door. He said they were polished stainless bars and they did an excellent job for him.

Not sure I would go with 12" but I'm going to try his out when I get there. He said they had 10" available for sure. He had an estimate from a couple Harley dealers and they were both in the $1,200 to $1,300 range.

I'm 5' 7" with 29" inseam, 190 lbs...picture short and round!

I had the local Indy (A&A Cycle in Watertown, SD) install the Khromewerks 2+2 bars in the middle of July. Just returned from Sturgis Rally, and with about 1800 miles on them, they are great!

By the way, bars were approx $121, set of Kury Iso grips $80, and install around $265....out the door for $472.70!! Not bad,... not bad at all. Very happy, and highly recommend A&A Cycle if in NE S Dakota.
