New 2020 Tri Glides

Seeeriously a $50,000 CVO. Harley you crapped yourself again. Had my checkbook ready for a RoadGlide fairing and independent suspension. A blinged out 2019......nah, going to save my $$$$$$$.

HD get smart, your time is running out. Did you look around Strugis this year ? Trikes and 3 wheelers eveerywhere. Did you have to even recharge that electric "Wire" out at the Full Throttle. Boy the crowds around it were wild NOT.... I even made a comment as to just how long Sturgis/Black Hills Rally will be around. Unless they can put video games in those fairing monitors the snowflakes and millennials arent going to be coming out of Mommas basement to buy motorcycles.l

Just saying !!!!

Hope all is well with you see you got back to Sturgis again

Have you price Vette's......I figured with the New Mid engine 20's coming out a leftover 19 might be doable...So i priced a few 65/70 +K average and as high as 90K.....And thats not out the door ....And if you don't like Black' Silver or White ....At least in my area you are out of luck.......

Yes I have priced Vettes lately. Base price is $55,500.00

I have a choice of a 2019 black =$58K+ or red for $59K+ Plus tax etc.

I've had 2 Vettes and I"m past that stage in my life now....but they sure are looking good.

Still more bang for the buck than a CVO TriGlide......and can go way faster and more comfortably for 12 months. :)

The new Teal color peaked my interest,so we got out to Indy yesterday to see if we could find a Teal Tri Glide but no luck. But one shop had a teal Street Glide and i have to say i really like the color. But my bike NADA at $25600 and the new one is $36,000 and change so i cant justify $ 11,000 for a new one since my 17 will be paid off next year. But to those who have traded up congrats,if i put good shocks on mine that will make a big difference, power wise its fine got my 02 Road King to put bigger stuff on,plus if i get tired of the black my neighbor owns a hot rod shop he told me yesterday to pick out a color and he will paint it just for the price of the paint so i have options.

Couldn’t resist, got a great offer, brought it home.

2020

I don't like the colors, the stripes , the wheels , the seat , the foot boards . The sales man says you can change all that . What a let down . Tried to buy a 2020 black tri glide but my two trades are worth nothing to them 08 gl1800 csc kit lots of extras they offer $8000. 2010 tri flhxxx mint condition lots of extras $ 10000. Gave them 1 Finger and left Maybe buy another new GL 1800 F Harley That's my story[/QUOTE

Looking around myself. Maybe a leftover 19. A lot of dealers looking to make deals. Don’t know if the new electronics are to my liking. Try a different dealer before giving up.

Dealer called me this week ask me to come back & talk, went back today got a 2020 black my to trikes and $8000. plus I get to swap the wheels off my 2010 on to the 2020 I think it was a good deal. now I have to wait a week to get it that sucks :D

CVO is damn Pretty but... $50k to start is also pretty damn stiff. No IS, no mechanical reverse, basically (from what I can tell) a super chromed out 2019 with the 117. I really wanted a good reason to trade up from my 2013 but not sure if it's really worth it or not for me. Might just add mechanical reverse to mine and ride it 'til the wheels fall off (no pun intended cuz I do torque the lug nuts to 100lbs) Or maybe look for a 2019 that is still sitting around somewhere. No clue at this point

I have seen a few new 2019s in my riding circle and I really am curious about why they traded up to a 19 from a 15 or 16. The lure of a more powerful engine is great and so is the new Boom Box, but on average, they are paying $10k for the difference. I have a 2015 and I love it. It has enough power to haul my fat ass plus any luggage I am carrying. And I am hearing all the rumblings that the new Boom Box has a lot of bugs that are worse than the old Boom Box.

And my main complaint about any new HD, we pay a bloody fortune for these machines and they come equipped like a stripped down Ford Pinto. At the prices HD wants, they should come equipped with mechanical reverse, chrome everything, and an entertainment Boom Box like something they would have on a F-22. At some point HD is going to have to either match the competition or change their market strategy. All these Millennials want electric scooters so HD will dump the big bike and get into scooters to stay in business. Not a good picture.

David I hear ya but they dont have any competition. the only other factory built trike is the can am spyder. and their prices are getting right up there also. hondas are still all conversions as are indians. a new bike add a conversion is money wise still in the same range. with a conversion you have warrantee issues possible. so as long as they keep selling them i dont see changes. so we buy what we like and live with it. change will only come when they stop selling

I agree. In looking at the new Honda Goldwing (2018-2019) trike conversions they are higher priced than the Tri-Glide and Indians are right up there also. And as you said - no power train warranty after the conversion. That to me on such an expensive vehicle is a show stopper. No matter how reliable a manufacturer may be there can still be problems.

MOCO needs to consider an immediate upgrade to an IRS for the trikes...now that, imo would be a worthwhile price increase and truly give us world class touring machines. Seems there's too much concentration on adding gee-wizz items.
