Light gray color streak in display screen

Got a light gray color streak on my display screen anyone got a answer to what's go7ng on? Display works fine.

My guess, the LCD is going bad ... I had a similar issue and ended up replacing it.

I would disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes ... try it again, if it doesn't clear .. probably gonna need replacement.

It's a bugger of a job and the new one is pricy unless you get lucky.

Here's what I had



Honda wanted $1700 for the new LCD and $300 to install it. I found the exact same LCD (direct plug and play, same Sharp dpart #) for $110 shipped from eBay. Not gonna lie to you the replacement was a bugger. The big problem is there is not enough wire to unplug it from the cockpit area. I had to tear down the entire nose just to get my paws on the plugs. Once it was unplugged, it came out fairly easily from the cockpit.
