Custom Top for Stallion

Hi Daydreamer, what I am looking for is like a convertible top for the Stallion. I've seen them in the past but I was hoping that someone had improved on look and installation.

Thank you.

I designed this one, but so far I have not been able to find any investors. We also have a small problem with saftey issues. But as long as you sit still it works flawless.

Well I had to order the young lady 27 years ago...

I purposely designed the roof to be able to fit any ladies hand, so until I kick the bucket in another 30 years or so I need to keep my display model.

the all american products sell the soft doors for $375, others sell them for $295. take your pick.
the GPS and radar detector mount for $35 and the one I have was less than $10, again take your pick.
they sell a CB for $750, I know where you can get one for less than $300.

you need to shop around before you get taken, unless you have so much money it does not matter to you.

you can get the J&M CB at Sierra Electronics for less than $300 for driver only or just over $300 for driver and passenger. antenna is extra, there are no visible holes in the body of my Stallion for the antenna.

my J&M CB was originally purchased for my FJR1300 bike and I no problem moving it to the Stallion.

take some stiff paper or something like that and make a templet (model) and then go to wal-mart or something like that and buy a bathroom rug and cut the rug to match the templet. now because the windshield slopes so much at the front the dash mounted rug will not go all the way to the front.

put Velcro on the base mount for the GPS and Velcro it to the rug. get a RAM mount and mount it to a piece of flat plastic, now mount the GPS to the RAM mount.

I have the GPS velcroed to the rug on the dash as well as the radar detector and a temp gauge.

so far I have 40,000+ miles on the Stallion and the rug and the stuff velcroed to it have been there most of that mileage.
