I went out to start my trike and when I turned the key on it makes a hissing sound, no lights, no radio or anything. I know the battery is up because I have a charger on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I think it is the maintainer, I put a charger on it and the lights work, might be time for a new battery.
Will a battery go bad just all of a sudden? I got it started, let it run about 15 minutes and turned it off and now nothing.

Hissing sound, what would make that, a loose connection at the battery?
I have seen dead shorts in batteries do that just before they blow up
Pooch, is theYuasa YTX20L battery better than a Interstate?
I took the interstate battery out and put on a 20 amp charger for 24 hours and the needle didn't move. It just wouldn't charge.
