Harley Freewheeler Trike Owners Thread

Hellow from Texas!!!

I have a 2015 Freewheeler with over 10,000 miles on it and have enjoyed it very much. Just ordered the Eagle 7" LED Headlamp and hope it will make my night riding as enjoyable as the day riding has been.

so, i am working on how to upload pics. In the mean time, i hear bad things about the freewheeler cooking your legs in traffic or parades, and then there are apparently a plethora of methods to counteract this.. what say you all?

I got my 2016 Freewheeler and it about made me a crispy critter at traffic lights, etc. As we speak I am having the cat removed. I've heard and read that it greatly reduces the heat. I'm hoping for wonderful results. No remapping required.

Hi

I find a tach just as important, if not more, than a speedometer. Does anyone else find the FW lacking in this respect?

Thanks

McMister

Not sure what year you have but my 16 has a toggle that you can use to get to your tach. I use the tach and my ears to shift. I listen more than look.

I bought my Freewheeler a year ago and get a little head shake at low speeds, I tried changing tire pressure, keep an eye on my suspension air pressure and it still does it, anyone experiencing the same problem? I have done a couple changes to make it look the way I wanted it to and most likely do seat and bars as well, View attachment 34830 I added a road Glide fairing to my Freewheeler and love it been riding fix fairing bikes 1984 and really like them, also I bought my trike because I now walk with arm canes and just didn't feel comfortable holding up my Road Glide anymore. I absolutely love my new bike

tel me about the RG fairing. I road RG for years, would be interested in adding fairing to 2016 FW

If you have a Harley Freewheeler Trike (or are considering buying one) please post your pics, mods, questions/comments here.

That is a safety feature. It would be quite disastrous to think of what could happen without it.

Yes what HDBOB said.

Don't why, My 11 when the reverse was working went in reverse first hit on the button .

If they were worried about safety , When you put it in reverse the 4 ways should go on like the Spyder i had... Or better yet backup lights....

Thought I would bring this over here from H-D Forums.

Hey just thought I'd start a little thread for those who have purchased, and want to register here, their ownership of Harley's new Freewheeler model. Participation is up to you, I think it would be fun to see who has the lowest VIN number out there and what percentage are Vivid Black, Superior Blue, and Amber Whiskey. (Has anyone seen an Amber Whiskey in the wild yet?) Let's try to stay on topic of 1) Name (or forum name if you wish), 2) City or state you reside in, 3) Color, and 4) VIN number (last six digits only). I'll start below.

We are in Marengo just west of you. I'm at work so don;t have any of the specs on wife's freewheeler other than it is a 2015 black.
