Help with battery cover removal

I need some help, I'm trying to remove the battery cover from my 2013 trike but can't figure out how to get the cover completely off,so I can remove the battery. Thanks for any help.

I had my 11 T/G out a short time ago, There's a few snap connections [wires] that have to be unsnapped and the wires then can be pushed to the side and you can lift the [heavy] battery out... I wish I could be more technical. But that's how I did it..

The cover over the battery has two screws facing the rear, and appears to be hinged facing forward which doesn't lift high enough to remove the battery, this is the problem I'm facing ?

the 2 bolts in the rear are obvious. What most people have a problem with is the front. It is just a square opening in the cover that fits over the metal bracket. It's kind of difficult to get off but it does come off. you have to remove the security antenna attached to the top. good luck

You have to wiggle/finagle that cover to remove it completely..

remove the screws.the module antenna, push plastic cover towards front of trike. there is a metal tab about a inch down you have to get around.

I know this is a little late, But if all you what do is just charge the battery, Put a pig tail connection on Then you won't have to go though that grief again..

Best suggestion EVER: I put the pig tail on my battery, BEST suggestion ever, NOW, I just put a battery maintainer charger on after every ride... NO MORE PROBLEMS.....or hassles.
