The used bike dealer in the area had tradein on
display and I decided to check it out.
I can honestly say after 3 minutes of sitting
on it my knees hurt.
To say it plainly, my legs were KILLING me.
I only have a 33 inch inseam, but with my feet on the pegs
it seemed like my legs were almost bent double.

Its too bad, I think the CanAm has a lot going for it.
But just not for me.

You did not say what model it was? The Spyders come in RS, RT and ST and all have different sitting positions. The RS is more of a racing style, the RT you sit straighter for touring and the ST is a cross between the two! You might want to try a different model, as it may just fit you!

Yes, I have the RT touring and it is very comfortable for both the driver and passenger! And as with all bikes, adding a few extras such as backrest, floorboards will add to that comfort. When we bought ours we rented one for a day, and put some miles on it, to make sure we liked it. The dealer even paid for the rental once we purchased the trike. Defenitely worth trying one to at least make an informed decision! Like any vehicle, some like them, some don't!ThumbUp
