JUST KNIVES

I happened to be online the moment this knife was posted, it took me a minute to realize what I was looking at and hit the buy it now button in a panic and proceeded to check out.

The pictures posted weren't exactly the best, listed as a vintage hunting knife, $40 with free shipping and free returns

Yep, totally worth it!

Marbles Gladstone 8" blade, stag w/ stag pommel - 4 pin, 1/2 inch brass pommel nut, original sheath. Doing some research now but estimated 1919-40's before the change to three line stamping post war

Minimum use, and only needed some light cleaning to knock off the surface rust.

Wow... I'm blown away by this one !

Randall, I believe yours is bigger than mine. See post #240 in this thread for my pre-war Marbles.

That was a good catch.

Thanks Bill, yes I'm very lucky to have acquired this one especially due to the price these bring and of the uncommon size

I went back to your old post and then re-read some of our others ... it's like rediscovering them all over again :) I'm was blown away by the condition and how nice yours is... it even has the old tube sheath :clapping:

That's a cool one, Randall.

I bet that didn't take much cleaning up.:clapping::p Artsy pic, too.

What are the circular cutouts in the blade for? never seen one like that.

Thanks Bill, Iol... yes every now and then I get a shiny new one

This one came from a member of the knife fourm who happens to live here in Pflugerville

2014 edition, new in tin, was still sealed from factory for 45 bucks

These are fairly collectable (as any Case knife is and is) this is one of several Halloween edition knives released yearly for the holiday

The blade's circular cut outs and teeth are decorative, but could also make for great pumpkin carving 🎃

Hey, so I'm hoping that maybe you all can help me out here...

Looking for a original Camillus brand sheath with sharpening stone for the 6" pilot's (survival) knife

The 6" was only produced for a couple of years before the military spec was changed to the more common 5" blade

Looked locally here, Ebay and through my knife forum's but no luck as of yet

Figured some of my friends here can aid in my search locally or such, if you come across one PM me or reply to this post

Keeping fingers crossed, I have the knife, just hope to find a sheath that's not too far gone...

Pictures below of what I'm looking for:

Thanks! :)

Thanks! :)

I plan on going to a show in 2 weeks, I will keep an eye out.

Appreciate that Jim, hopefully someone will have one ...:good:

I've found a quite few for the 5" blade available, but it's been harder than I thought to find a 6" sheath for this old Camillus knife

6” Sheaths are hard to find in good shape . It’s like trying to find anything southpaw !

Really appreciate that Jim,

I finally found the 6" version...original but in terrible condition. Not to mention the seller wanted way too much for something that was falling apart :xzqxz:

I hope you have better luck, in the right condition I would pay a reasonable amount, but as long as it's an original sheath

Have fun, maybe you'll find yourself something really nice as well :D

Randall, gun show was pretty much commercial gun shops, a very few locals and gun stuff was totally out of sight. One guy had case knives, mostly new and double the price I can get them for. I am going back today, locals are expected to have their goods on display today. Report to follow.

Thanks Jim, I checked in mid day from work yesterday...

Yeah, prices are through the roof on knives, guns etc... just like about everything else in the world

Getting harder to find my fixers as well as these are pushing upward of 30 bucks plus shipping

I've got a small pile of them in reserve, should be good until the next "good deal" comes up

I'm hoping the locals came through at the show for us
