Just got confermation from a trike wrench in Jasper Il. It is a 6206 made in china. When i try to buy that its inner race is not raised.
I did get a reply from Champion. Just blows my mind. *Is this what you need for a GL1800 with a Suzuki differential? *
Did I mention I ride a VTX 1300??
BE-E00-030 BEARING $20.43 $40.86
BE-E00-031 BEARING RETAINER $12.02 $24.04
BE-E00-032 AXLE SPACER $5.15 $10.30
BE-E00-014 WASHER WAVE SPRING $1.90 $3.80
SE-E00-006 CAGE SEAL $9.07 $18.14
SE-E00-008 AXLE SEAL $9.82 $19.64
$58.39 $116.78
How in the hell do I know what I need without pictures?????????
Don't know what the axle spacer is. Don't know what a washer wave spring is. Don't know know a cage seal is. It doesn't mention the seal protector like other kits list.
Mine has Bearing, Bearing retainer, seal and seal protector. I have a new seal.
I'm thinking the axle spacer may take the place of the raised inner race but need pics to be sure.
Here is another and I think this might be it.

Got the Champion stuff installed. 62 x 30 x 15 6206 RS. You are correct. The inner race is not raised. That is a spacer. You need the cage seal, spacer and bearing retainer from Champion. Axel seal is locally available. I recommend buying the kit from Champion less the Chinees bearing and buying a National American made bearing locally. If I have to do the right side at any time, all I will need to buy is the cage seal from Champion.
My machanic was able to save the bearing retainer and spacer
30X62X15 ??? Are you sure of the width of the bearing, 15mm ?
Can you provide me a picture of that cage seal ? Does the cage seal act as a spacer also ? I am assuming that the bearing is only sealed from one side and the cage seal makes the seal to the second side. Why not just get a bearing that has 2 seals ?
30x62x16 is a 6206RS in http://www.vxb.com/6206RS-Bearing-30x62x16-Sealed-p/kit817_1.htm
Hi, Well I tried what you said, put it into first, then into reverse, then back to neutral, and it works no more crunch. Thanks for your help, you probably saved my gear box and my sanity.Although it is a lot of trouble, that is the preferred method.ThumbUp
Lee H. Mann, I'm new to the site and missed your message. I bought my trike 2nd hand and within a month the bike shop went out of business and the Honda folks will not work on the trike part. The pads and rotors wore in less than 6000 miles. My shad tree idea did not work and I need advise. Can I put a thicker rotor and better pad that Lehman offers at a very high price or do I bite the bullet and pay the high priced Lehman price?
My trike is a 2008 gl1800 converted 2010 Lehman Monarch II.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Thanks
I'm not sure if that is the correct name of my kit. I bought it used last year and I'm wanting info for the kit.
