First, I want to thank Kevin and Randy for their time and patience with this purchase and install. Both are great who willingly share their knowledge and experience. Simply put, I can't say enough!
I ordered the Love Jugs from Randy HERE and they arrived in two days. Great Customer Service.
After looking things over, I decided to jump in and give it a go. Seat and tank removal were simple and straight forward.
Mounting the frame mount to the frame initially caused some concern. As with most folks, I do not like sharp edges around any wiring. I was concerned with the loose ends of the clamps cutting into the wiring. Solution, small zip ties to hold the loose ends of the clamps down on the clamp itself. You can see the zip ties below.
The next pic shows the opposite side of the mount above.
My next issue was trying to retain the cylinder strap, as I didn't want to give the dealer a reason to void my warranty. I cut the horn mount portion of the bracket off flush with the cylinder strap portion, which allowed enough room to retain it. The picture below shows the strap with the horn mount removed.
Quick pic of the strap removed from the cylinders.
Quick pic of the modified strap installed after a little rattle can action.
A pic of the clearance between the cylinder strap and the Love Jugs Frame mount.
The picture above isn't the best for showing the clearance, but there is 3/16" of clearance between the two. There is room to get an additional 1/16" - 1/8" of clearance if needed. I thought I would see how it works as is and adjust if necessary after riding.
Below is a pic of the finished install.

All in all, a simple straight forward install, with well built components.
