A few of my friends here have asked to see some pictures of my newly rebuilt trike so here they are.
I wanted to put it back to what it was with some improvements, most would have to look hard to see the subtle differences, suffice it to say that everything on this trike is basically fresh and newly rebuilt within the last two years save for the transmission.
It has a brand new front end from the axle up. Even has a new windshield and crash bar, and I was able to find new cruising pegs the same as the old ones.
I made a center foot peg on the left side so I can get my crippled butt on/off easier.
I got the new clear plastic bra on the front trike fenders and intend to do some on the fairing and lowers.
I have a new seat and backrest covers compliments of Junes upholstery off e-bay for a great price also.
Beats buying a whole new seat for sure!
I tried to paint it as close to original as humanly possible.
One noticeable change is the upper front fork covers.
I had thought about completely blacking out the front forks but I like the way it looks now and am glad I didn't.
My friend would like to get a set for his tri-glide but you would have to take the forks off to do it.
If you click on the picture it may enlarge?
Doing all the mechanical work myself allowed me to come out ahead on the insurance money so I could add a few goodies and improvments.
A trick of the light makes it look like it has a scratch in the fairing.
