oil cooler OEM spring clamp worn-out

probably 5 k. miles ago i replaced the stock oil cooler hose spring clamps on my .09t/g's . and now its leaking eventhough i used NAPA'S high-tach sealant
on the fitting. only one is leaking, so even though i hate the adal (screw ) clamps. i guess thats the best choice. i used the PEX clamps on the oil cooler but i don't have enough room to get the retchet in that area.
so everyone with stock sprink clamps i suggest you check & see if you can move the oil cooler hose by hand.

36,000 and change on my dads and real close to 22,000 miles on the one I used to have and we never had any leak problems from them clamps. I did however buy some spares just in case I would ever have a problem with them. I've seen screw type clamps leak also after time goes by.
