Oil cooler on yamaha 1700

Is buying this oilcooler unit with a fan.
Will install that above rear axel. Is around 8"x8"

Wil fit fine, will use a thermostat and heat switch for fan.

Will keep engine cool in 105 weather

Will post a pic when i have it installed later. Cooler now, still riding.

Oil coolers are good-but will get enough air for cooling by the rear axle? Maybe it will with the fan-where did you get it?

I'm with you, it will work because the fan will move the air as necessary and will work just fine.
