We'll be going to the Phoenix area 1st week in April. Any experience or advice about renting a trike? Looking for a Goldwing just because that's what I ride. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
When I was looking at Trikes and Trike Conversion kits in the Phoenix, AZ area, I rented a Goldwing with MotorTrike kit from Southwest Trikes. Here's a link to their website:

I took a quick look at their website, and it looks like that they still offer goldwing trikes for rent. AZ bike week is usually around the 1st of April, so the availability of rental units may be scarce at that time. My advice is to locate a rental unit and tie it down as early as possible.

PS: It you're in the Phoenix area in April, lets get together for a ride. Globe
is one of the popular stops on the spring bike tours.
Thanks for the input Hepengr. Wasn't aware of AZ Trike Week. That may complicate matters. Talked with Keith at SWTrikes. His quote was high and was wondering if there were any less expensive renters in the area. That's right, Im on a fixed budget...OK Im cheap! Thanks again Hepengr. Maybe we can hook up. I would love to tour the desert to places only the locals know.

There are many places that rent bikes on a fly in and ride basis, however haven't seen anyone else that caters to trikers. Doesn't mean that there not out there - I'm just not aware of them. This is probably the reason that their rates are so high - high demand and short supply.
FYI - Arizona bike week for 2010 is April 14th - 18th. They hold pre-rally events the prior week.
