By the time they see that 2" reflector they've already hit you. You (not you in particular rhino) should have anticipated them doing something stupid before they were in range to see your reflectors. Gotta remember these same people run into buses and tractor trailers and they've got lights blazing, reflectors everywhere and really, really loud horns and they're a lot bigger than we are. Maybe it's just me, but I ride like nobody sees me and if they do they're actively trying to kill me. It's got me through for 71 years without daytime lights or reflectors, but don't get me wrong I don't care what anybody has on their bike/trike, I just hope they don't depend on that little piece of plastic to do anything meaningful and get complacent. Me? I take 'em off because I think it makes the bike look cleaner. And it goes faster.
Yes, and everyone knows black trikes are faster to begin with
I just read this in my latest issue of rocket science weekly the March issue.. It talks about a phenomenon on how some pigments of paint and in particular Black will slow down vehicles through negative drag.. /QUOTE]
That's an actual magazine. I thought you were kidding. (I looked it up) Now I've got to paint my bike red. Thanks, Rhino.
Gotta say, their both real good looking trikes. Don't tell my '21 Free I said that, she might not start for me.
Does your FLRT have a name?

I told this story before..But here it goes again, A buddy named his bike after his dog’Bad move on his part one day he called his dog over and instead his bike came over and jumped on his lap…..
I was only looking.
Very cool, I had a chance to trade even up my 60 Panhead for one of these, in hindsight I wish I had
A 60 Pan? Mine was a 59.
Was? That’s too bad. Mine is a 50. She’s a keeper. Has been since 1968.
