Always dress for the crash! Not likely you'll be tipping over on a trike but if you're on the road you can always end up "on the road". Gloves take road rash better than skin!

I feel naked riding without gloves I have had my knuckles hit more than once by gravel and other debris on the road It’s what you get used to I guess??

And on two wheels.....The third part you hit after the back of your head' And elbows is your hands.....And yes it happened that way to me in the 70's......
