The CSC Times April 2019

A few years ago, (1998?), I purchased a reverse "kit" from CSC for my 1990 FLT.

I was wondering if you still make the black Bakelite/phenolic knob that goes on the end of the shifter?

The shifter was not threaded upon arrival and still remains that way. Short of cutting threads on it, is there any good way to secure it without it vibrating off again?

P.S. It's still working as it did on installation in '98, so that should attest to its durability!

I await your feedback!

Thanks, in advance...

If your bike is a 1990 it can't be a CSC. The Daytona kit only fits 1999 and newer. I spoke with Dwight and he said that reverse shifter is made by Champion Trikes. Hope this helps!

You're right, my bad!

Its been a few years since I bought the kit and I knew it came from California.

They still sell the kits for vintage 5 speeds, so I'm hoping they've got parts...

Thanks again for the point in the right direction, CSC.
