Well ........ my new-to-me 2005 yellow GL1800 Hannigan is on the truck, and on it's way from New Jersey, and I'm 'so' totally beyond the point of any anticipation that a "wide awake" 7 year old feels at about 5 AM on the Dec 25!
I've been riding my Road King around the mountain roads where I live (up here in the central Sierras) but I have to admit ....... after recently riding a GL with a side car (which prompted me to look for, and find/buy the Hannigan) I'm just not as enthused about riding the RK as I used to be.
Don't get me wrong .... I still love riding the Harley, but the anticipation of that smooth riding GL trike has me looking for chores to do about the house, to make the time pass with less ....... torture.
I mean .... screw water-boarding! Just promise them a trike ........... and then make them wait ........ that'll get 'em talking!!
My wife is all happy and already glad of the purchase .... (oh yeah!!) .... as she gets her entire honey-do list attacked with a vengeance!
Question ...... is pining, yearning and longing all the same, or are they all just more words to define this agony??
