VW home built trike & ideas for another

Hey my name is Pete, this is pics of the trike that I built about 10 years ago from scratch. I have since sold it to a friend and he has put his own spin on it. It is built around a 1776cc daul port vw engine and a 67' vw transaxle everthing else is built by me over about a years time. I am Thinkig about building another trike built around a 1100cc goldwing engine and a gm car rearend, kinda what Ian Roussel on full custom garage built but no rigid rearend.

Welcome Pete and greetings from Long Island.
That is one rad looking trike. I'm sure whatever you build will be impressive.

Hey Bikerbozo, I haven't made a trike in a long time. Been the middle of a build of a chopped 67 beetle with a full tube frame and cage. It has a 73 camaro front end and a 97 t-bird independant rearend and a 500 hp 400cid small block turbo 350 with a 3000 stall converter. air ride and a bunch more. I traded for a 77 toyota wagon drag car, crushed the yota and am in the process of stuffing everything in the bug. I figure my son and I will have a sub 9 second car to shot down the track.IMG_2678.jpgIMG_2670.jpgIMG_2671.JPGIMG_2681.jpg11-23-11_1828.jpg

Hey Stacebg, First off I like your trike looks very cool and probably handles very well around corners. With that said , I have to say "oops my bad" for some reason I took the Valk as VW and not valkarie. I interested why you didn't use the subaru rearend with the axles. I built a minibuggy a few years ago with a 750 virago engine and a subaru rear with limited slip and 4.11 gears, its smaller and lighter than a ford 8.8.
