Eddie, count me in. I should be able to get to Sarasota and then up in time. It would seem to be a solo trip, to many miles, for Miles to be able to enjoy it. It would be nice to get a back rest fabbed out by then.

BTW: I just got my Stallion back today. I purchased the switches and in line fuses I need to connect my cigarette lighter and led switch. I am running the gas tank down to see how much it will hold with the new gage mod. It has been so long I almost forgot the questions I get, and all that attention. "Wheres the seatbelt?"... "What do you do when it rains?".... "Is that a car?".... Yada Yada Yada..... "Do you work for Mattel?" (That was a new one!)<br />

I'm sitting here reading all this and coming up to speed. Don't want to be negative but you can bet it will be very cold in the mountains especially the Cherohala Skyway in April so bundle up and "pack a parka". Expect 10* or <u><b>more</b></u> drop while riding high. Alcohol doesn't help either.. tried to pour it all over me once and I just got chilled. Went up there this past May and there was ice on the Skyway.. so.. just saying (burrrr) <br />

I'll check the local websites there and see if there are any large events during that time.

I would love to attend if work permits. May would probably be a bit warmer and would work better with our schedule too but what works for the majority is fine by me. This could be TTR-2.

Mike and I are open to any weekend in May if that works for everyone else. June would be a bit more complicated for us from week to week, but we may be able to work w/ some weekends in June.

I think the Chief and I could make pretty much any weekend in May. We could also possibly do early or late June, but I know that area gets crowded in the summer.

I just checked the university calendar and see that my grades will be due on 5 May, so any time after that is great for us. I can celebrate the end of the school year, too!

I took the liberty of posting on the other forum board about the Trikes joining the May run. I know most of these guys/gals and they are good people.<br />

I see that 10 May is Mothers' Day, so some folks might be planning mother-centered activities for that day or even the whole weekend. So that weekend might not be the best choice for this event we're trying to plan.

May I suggest 15-17 May? This gets us closer to warmer weather in the mountains, avoids Mothers' Day, Memorial Day, and the summertime crowds.
How does that work for everyone? Mattel, how does that sound to you, since you're the one doing all the setup "legwork"?

And let me make clear that 15-17 May is ONLY a suggestion. The best dates, of course, will be the ones that work best for most of those interested in this event. We'll try our best to attend whenever it ends up happening.
