What Did You Do To Your Freewheeler Today?

Hit a deer at 70 mph. Took out the rear master cylinder, brake pedal, air cleaner, front exhaust cover, right side tail light wiring and my right leg. I was on two wheels for a while.

Sorry to hear. I hope you and the trike are well soon.

Friend of ours hit a deer a few weeks ago with her TG. Close to $20K in damage.

Great day to ride yesterday. Little Pine State Park and Hyner View State Park.

FINALLY. Got my 10,000 mile service done at Atlantic County HD NOT Rommels HD in Smyrna DE that I fired. Headed to TN this weekend.

Have a great trip, ride safe

Glad you finally got your service done:clapping:

Just for grins, have a look at your plug wires where they attach to the frame behind the rear rocker cover

Mine on my 17 and now my 21 were not fastened from the factory

See my post with a video and pictures here

There were two that were not connected. One I plugged into the hole on the frame. It wasn't in contact with anything, but I feel better with it secured. The other, if I plugged it into the next nearest hole would have put it right on the rear rocker box so I left it loose with plenty of clearance. Thanks. Not a big fan of having rather important wires laying on hot engine parts.

Only managed about 220 miles this weekend locally. Was supposed to go to TN Saturday AM, but the weather for all of next week from TN to NJ and all points in between is thunderstorms. Not just a chance of thunderstorms, but a 60 to 80% chance of thunderstorms. All week! Now a stray thunderstorm here and there in July and August is always a possibility, hello FL :D , but I've been caught in multi-state downpours before and incurred a lot of damage from wiped out chains and sprockets to screwing up a speedometer. Hoping for better next weekend or mid week. I want to enjoy my ride, not do another survival course. ;)

Every day last week I got caught in down pours. Nature of the beast as you said about Florida, the good thing is I can and do ride year round

Better luck to you next week

Great ride with friends today to see some history. The Eldred WW2 Museum in Eldred, PA. Eldred produced munitions during the war. The place is full of informative displays and I highly recommend visiting. Eldred World War II Museum | Learning Center | Eldred, PAJust a few of the 100+ pics I took today. Took advantage of two nice days in the 90's and did a down and back ride to VA to visit family. A little over 600 miles. Trip down was awesome, beautiful day. Just cool enough in the morning to put a smile on your face. Little traffic, no slow downs anywhere. It was great. Not so much the next day coming back. I caught every red light in three states. I actually think they put up some more just for me. :( The Annapolis Bay Bridge was backed for miles due to construction. Took 45 minutes to get across it. The Delaware Memorial Bridge was a standstill. I thought I was going to have to push that trike across, but she held firm both times with no complaints. I'd do it again tomorrow if I could. :)

I see your bumper is hanging on good:clapping:

Changed all my fluids, including flushing brake fluid

I have a 700 mile road-trip to help my Grand daughter move into her dorm room in North Miami, she is starting College courses, and will be a forensic scientist when she is finished

I will pack rain gear, it rains almost every day now
