Forgot to get meat out of the freezer, we went out for pizza. After dinner I made a couple batches of spicy chick pea snacks in the air fryer, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, chili powder.

They’re good this time of night with a gin n tonic . Try it with fave beans .

Almost as good…. I know sound like sacrilege. Especially that I live in Jersey (53 years now). But Brooklyn tomatoes are actually the best…..

Well I’m gona brag . This is the second one this season , baseball size , that have a soft skin and actually taste like a tomato should . I fertilize and bug spray with Neem Oil and water mix . Will post some garden pix tomorrow.

The real Brooklyn tomato’s ….Are impossible to find ever since raising pigeons on roof tops was outlawed in the early Sixties…. Pigeon poop was used to fertilize the plants..

Picadillo, a Caribbean dish the Mrs. cooked up for tonight. Ground beef, tomatoes, peppers, onions, olives, peas, hot sauce, jerk seasoning and a bunch of garlic.
