Skip it looks GREAT. Who's rear drive train etc did you use?

The rear end is 1999 Miata IRS with a BMW diff. with 2.93:1 gearing, same as bike. HD air shocks. Tires are a little tall so need to get smaller.
Body is custom from the mold I made, widen 4.5 center fender & mold in tail lights.
Trunk go's from fender to fender & will hold a helmet.
I did all of the work on it. Friend helped finish the body work for me.

I always said I would like to take all the good parts of the 12 or so kits and make my own trike, I think u may have done it. Fender to fender trunk . Only 2 have that Champion and DFT. And now yours. And you put to use the PT Cruiser light . Look better on the trike than they did on the car.

Tail lights are from a 2000 HYUNDAI ELANTRA, didn't use PT lights.

It was a long time coming, but sorry to report that the trike is up for a new home. Have it listed on other forum here.
It was fun & enjoyable, but time to move on.

Hey Skip!! I been watching your builds, what a nice pair of trikes!! I can't do that stuff anymore, but I did feed my family doing fiberglass at one time. ALOT of tedious work indeed! I'm "jimsjinx" over on Steves site. Been here @ TrikeTalk going on 4 years! Good people who run this place. You can't find a nicer group! Have started to make some mods to the body I have to add tail lights from the Honda Del Sol.



Pop out another body to work on.



The body I now sell without tail lights.



Mounted the trunk in it.



Made molds of the tail light housing & popped out the right & lift side.



Started to mount the tail lights.



Build the center section for a new larger trunk lid.



Finished mounting the lights but not happy with the bumper.



Cut it all out & started over with new tail light housing.



Happy with the lights, but still don't like bumper.
Will cut off & try again.

This GL1500 will have a Jag IRS in it this time, with wire wheels.

Just a look at the 3 Different Body's This is the one I sell w/o tail lights.



The 2nd Custom Wide Body. This Trike has been SOLD.
Didn't make a mold of it, it's a one off.



And the 3th Custom Body for this Trike build. This will be molded.
Usinf Jag rear end on this trike build.
Uses tail lights from a Honda Del Sol & has a larger trunk space.
It's still being worked on.
