The TrikeTalk Northeast Rally 2016 will be held this coming year in historic Dover, New Hampshire, also known as The Garrison City, from August 14th-19th.
Settled in 1623, Dover is the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire, and the seventh oldest in the nation. Offering a wide range of history and culture to enjoy, the city is ranked one of the top 100 in the United States, and is one of the fastest growing cities in New Hampshire.
Located between mountains and seacoast, Dover is within an hour’s ride of many destinations, including Lake Winnepesaukee and the White Mountains. You’ll find many southern Maine and New Hampshire beaches are only 20 minutes from the host hotel, with Portsmouth and the seacoast only 15 minutes away. For those who like to shop, the famous Kittery Outlets are just beyond Portsmouth.
Our host hotel for the 2016 rally is the Dover Days Inn, situated in mid-town Dover. Conveniently located on Route 108, it’s easily reached from Exit 7 off the Spaulding Turnpike. We've locked in a group rate of $92.65 per night, double occupancy, but you must call to make reservations and mention you're with TrikeTalk. Further information can be found on the rally webpage.
With over 30 restaurants in the city offering almost any food you desire, the Days Inn is located within walking distance to over 20 of them – two are adjacent to the hotel! It’s also a short walk away from the Strand Theatre and Cochecho River Park, as well as many shops.
Some of the non-riding activities available in the area include whale watching, tall ship tours, the Thomas Leighton cruise to the Isle of Shoals, and deep sea fishing. Also nearby you can find Hampton Beach, Old Orchard Beach in Maine, and Kennebunkport, Maine (home to President Bush’s compound).
Please keep us in mind as you plan your 2016 vacation and travel plans – we’d love to have you join us!! Click here to go to the rally webpage and scroll down to registration link (PLEASE register each person individually).
And remember to check the rally page often, so you don’t miss any updates!
