Pic Heavy 2016 Ride Report - 40 Days Following the Front Wheel

True love and complete faith in his skills are the only things that come to mind when I see the pictures or see them together. :friends:

Yeah, that, maybe? :)

I asked her, she said she likes riding in her "queen" seat and just enjoys the wind. She also knows that if she asks me to calm down some, that most of the time I will.

On a really serious note...about 11 years ago I was in a bad accident (solo). Truck going the wrong way on the interstate hit me. 22 broken bones and laid up in bed for 4 months.

During the first 2 months Mary said she was never going to ride again. I did not say anything to try and talk her into it.

(I Never try and influence anyone to ride...it is dangerous...if they want to ride, great, if not great, but it is not going to be on me that they started riding and then maybe got hurt).

Around the end of the 2nd month confined to the bed, Mary came into the bedroom and said that today would be a great day to be out riding, and that she was looking forward to me healing up to take her for a ride.

So, my guess is she has the same addiction we all have...it is a blast being in the wind, she just prefers it as a passenger.

She also knows that after my accident I went over and over and over and over in my mind what I should have done differently to avoid the imbecile driving the wrong way on the interstate...and how it would have devastated me, worse than the broken bones, if she had been on the bike with me.

Oh, and she knows how to ride the Trike, she has done it well the few times I've convinced her to do it in big empty parking lots...she was a natural with the clutch and shifting.

To her all the shifting, throttle, clutch, braking, watching out for traffic, road hazards and critters is a bunch of work...she just prefers enjoying the wind completely relaxed.
