Asking for a friend....

Banshee and FXDSE2 thirty minutes prior to crash 1024x767.jpg

My FXRS and my friend's FXDSE2 just thirty minutes prior to impact.

My FXRS ended up on its side in the dirt beside that channel-iron cross, which marks the spot where another rider died years earlier. If Jackie or I had hit that thing coming off our bike we'd have been killed there, too!

My friend, seeing the hit-and-run driver strike my motorcycle, ran off the road rather than collide with him. He and his wife ended up in the middle of that grassy area with the Dyna-Glide on top of them. They were both injured worse than we were.

A friend was injured in the same hit-and-run incident that totaled my FXRS, and his disability is getting worse and worse, to the point that he is now looking at triking his 2007 Dyna. His is the Screaming Eagle edition, but frame, et cetera, should be same-same as any other Dyna. There are kits available, but he insists on independent suspension, and the only likely suspect I've found so far is Cool Trikes of Clarksville, Texas. Their 'Roadster' is independent suspension, looks to be well-made, and fits the Dyna.

My questions:

Does anyone have experience with Cool Trikes and/or their kits? Good? Bad? Needs fixing?

.....or.....

Does anyone know of another manufacturer who makes an independent-suspension kit to fit a Dyna-Glide?

Thank you.
