Average age of riders

I'm 73, and I have a question. Has anyone added up all the ages and come up with an average since that's what the first poster asked???

I think you only need to take a sample, oh let's say 20 members. That would give you an idea of the average age. I'm 65.5 and ride a TG.

Do I get the "Golden Oldie Award"? I'm 83 and have been married for 64+ years and would still be on two but my wife said I was too old and skinny to hold a Goldwing up so she wouldn't ride with me anymore. She said she would consider riding with me if I triked the wing. I did and she rode 2 miles around the complex in Florida. When we got back home I asked her to go for a ride and she refused. I told her I thought you said you would "consider" riding if I triked and she responded I did but I'm "reconsidering".

Needless to say I now ride alone! I hope to continue riding until some of you guys turn 83. I just bought myself this trike for my 83rd birthday and hope I can ride till I wear it out or kick the bucket. Ride Safe.

Doc ThumbUp

Doc, are you familiar with the Gold Wing Road Riders Association? We are having our annual rally in Huntsville, September 2nd - 5th. There will be thousands of Goldwings there. Bring your spouse.

The dates are Sept. 3-5. Look forward to seeing you there. I know that you will enjoy it. A truly great bunch of Trikers. Ride Safe. Doc ThumbUp

Re: Average age of Riders

In our group, my husband is 73 on a 2010 Tri-Glide, I'm 63 on a 2014 Tri-Glide, Our friend is 63 on a 2010 Tri-Glide, my Cuz is 69 on a 2012 Tri-Glide & Our friend not pictured is 65 on a 2010 Tri-Glide. My husband & Cuz have both test rode mine & were shocked at the difference in handling. I have multiple health issues, the changes in the '14s made it possible for me to hold my own bars again :p
