Born again biker/triker

Hello All,

I'm Dave from Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, UK. I started triking about 2 years ago after wanting one for about 25 years although I'd had bikes as a young man I'd not had a trike.

I had a mate who builds them and he offered me one at the right price so I jumped at the chance. I rode it for a year but I have a damaged spine and arthritis. The hard tail was playing havoc with my back, the pushing it backwards out of parking spaces and down my drive didn't help either.

When I got the chance of a 2CV based trike with reverse and soft tail I thought that'll do me so I went for it, I got it at the right price but since then I've ridden it only short distances due to the weather over the last year.

I'm hoping that I can contribute to the forum discussions in some way and hopefully get any help should I need it off the members.

Thanks for reading this
Regards
Dave

Welcome from Cayce SC USA. Cancer took my two wheels away so now I ride a Goldwing Trike I am getting along with it very well and in time you'll find your new ride the best cup of tea for you !

Thanks All for the welcomes so far.

The photo below is of my first trike (top - red) and my 2nd up to November last year (bottom - blue). Not been able to do much to then blue 2CV one due to the lousy weather over here in the UK over the past year or so.

Regards
Dave

Welcome to Trike Talk from the far Eastern Hills of Kentucky. I like the pictures of your rides and especially the colors. I have a 99 Honda Valk that was converted by California Side Car. She is green and silver and as soon as our cold and snowy weather quits===I am a ridding into the wind. Feel free to ask any question as there are hundreds of smart men and women from around the world to answer anything. RIDE SAFE !!!
