Lug nuts

I have to assume the lug nuts are standard automotive 1/2-20 lug nuts. Am I correct?

That is correct.

The factory lug nut have a chrome trim cover over the nut. That is OEM on the Harley Trikes.

I've replaced them with a solid lug nut that is chromed. Have done well over a ten thousand miles on the solid lug nuts and checked them a few times with the torque wrench. They are holding well.

Thanks Kevin. I thought as much but I would not have been surprised if Harley put on a proprietary rim.

When I tried to remove the lug nuts from my 21 cvo, had to use an impact. 160 ft lbs would not break them loose.

Did, the cheap nuts started to deform. Milwaukee Fuel took care of it.

Don’t you just hate it when your nuts start to deform .. Glad you got it off without deforming the studs…
