Thanks. I have been trying to put the pushrod in first. The guide goes first. Again thanks a million.Any type 1 I have ever seen the push rod is held in by the plastic guide.
As in ..... the guide goes in first, then the rod, then the pump. Not counting gaskets.
If you are trying to get the rod in first I suppose you are just lucky that it has not fallen through into the cam gear galley. Not much fun splitting a case just to fetch out a dropped part.
You do have a type 1?
Picture up so we can help you better.
So I am just wondering why use a manual pump?
I just put a block off plate on mine and I use a electric pump.
Is there some advantage of a manual pump I am not seeing?
Don't forget the pressure regulator
installed the mr gasket regulator set at 3.5 30 min. ride let set 10 min. cranked right up not a good test yet but a lot better than what it was doing thanks again for the help.
