Using 1st Gear as a Brake

Since I'm a thrifty kind of guy I just bought a 4X4 and cut it a 45 degree angles and drilled a hole thru each slipped a washer on the ends of a rope and tied a knot it in. Took one board made several and gave them to friends as they take up very little space in the trunk.

Great idea, but the bright yellow color vinyl/plastic wheel chocks are only $4-$5 are light and easy to spot.

I leave it in 1st and I have
A bungie cord with a ball on it that is just the right size to hold the frond brake. I don't have a parking brake. ;)
